Molson Coors in the United States launched a holiday season campaign aimed at younger consumers with a message about returning to simplicity, “Just bring the beer.”
The ads encourage party guests to skip pointless gifts that nobody really needs and simply bring a few beers from the Coors portfolio instead.
The campaign positions beer as a simple, convenient, fun, and reasonably priced solution that lets young people spend quality time together without unnecessary complications.
As part of its Thanksgiving activity, the brewery sold a set of humorous stickers in its online shop that could be placed on beer bottles as an excuse for bringing beer to the holiday table. Among the sticker messages, “This is also a turkey,” and “This is definitely a side dish.”
