Two in One, A Coffee Machine That Also Makes Soft Drinks

Dutch foodtech company Founteyn has developed an at home beverage machine that uses capsules to prepare hot drinks, such as coffee and tea, as well as carbonated soft drinks, such as Pepsi Cola, within seconds.

The founders present it as an ideal environmental solution that can reduce the production, packaging, and transport of beverage crates.

The venture targets home users as well as businesses and organizations that want to operate in a greener way and reduce purchases of heavy plastic bottles.

The company raised 19.3 million euros, with PepsiCo’s venture capital fund among the main investors. It was one of the largest foodtech funding rounds in Europe in 2025.
